Since 1991, the Tomlinson family has honored the United States Military and preserved the legacy of our Greatest Generation. Covid-19 devastated Home of the Brave Hawaii and we were forced to permanently close our Honolulu location in March of 2020.
Known as “Honolulu’s best kept secret and an American treasure”, we have secured the future site of the new Home of the Brave Museum & Brewseum in Durango Colorado at Bears Ranch. We are working with Timberlyne for the design and construction of the new building. Help us continue our mission of preserving American History for our future generations with fundraising beginning this winter

Home of the Brave Hawaii consists of our Home of the Brave Museum, Home of the Brave Brewing, Wiki Waki Woo Speakeasy, Home of the Brave Brewseum®, Pearl Harbor Headquarters and Remember Honor Salute Foundation.
The HOTB Museum and Brewseum is more than just Kakaako's best kept secret - they are an experience that you will never forget.
Originally housed in the Home of the Brave Museum which opened in 1991, the Brewseum® was the final stop for our guests on our exclusive WWII Military base tour - Home of the Brave Tours. Located at 909 Waimanu Street in Kakaako, this one-of-a-kind family owned and operated museum & brewpub grew from one room into a unique collection of WWII, Military, Beer & Hawaiiana memorabilia spread amongst over 10 different unique zones.
The artifacts and stories in the museum have been donated by over 100,000 WWII Veterans and their families who participated in and experienced the Home of the Brave Tour. For 25 years, Home of the Brave was widely regarded as the most exclusive WWII Military base tour anywhere in the world with access to installations that came under attack on December 7, 1941 like Pearl Harbor, Hickam AFB, Wheeler AAF, Schofield Barracks, Fort Shafter, Punchbowl and more. The tour program ended in December 2016 with the 75th Anniversary of the attack.
The Brewseum® was an idea developed by Duke Tomlinson while attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. The Tomlinson kids (Duke, Baron & Brittany) all moved home after graduating college to expand the concept and build what is now today the best-ranked brewpub on Oahu.
The fascinating history of beer in the Hawaiian Islands is found on site amongst relics and memorabilia that transport you back in time to when this incredible beverage made its way to Hawaii back in 1812. Learn about Francisco De Paula Marin & others and visit the largest beer can collection on island!
The Home of the Brave Brewing Company brewed its signature Pilot Pale Ale in 2009 & presently has over a dozen unique craft beers.
The second level of the museum is where the 1940's truly come to life with our Wiki Waki Woo 1940's Speakeasy/Tiki Bar. Ranked amongst the top tiki bars in the U.S., craft cocktails & pints of our beer straight from the tanks below the bar are served alongside wine and sodas - an outside lanai overlooking historic Kakaako is hidden behind the bar and is the perfect place to unwind and watch the sunset in the distance.
